Last winter I developed a pain in my shoulder which was found to be a rotator cuff injury. After a few visits to a chiropractor the pain and limitation hadn’t gone away so I went for physiotherapy at the NHS. I was given a cortisone injection which didn’t help.
An ultrasound and x-ray later, I was told by staff that I would probably need surgery to fix the tendon. I began seeing Kate at Newquay Physiotherapy for treatment and dry needling sessions in the area around my shoulder.
Within a day I could feel a restoration of mobility and reduction in pain. My shoulder movement and strength have now returned to normal and I am able to surf as often as I wish without problems.
Thanks to Kate’s treatments I’m now free from pain - my shoulder troubles are behind me!
